The Growl have just been announced as Triple J Unearthed winners for the Perth Big Day Out 2012! A big congrats to the lads who will be playing alongside the likes of Kanye West, Kasabian, Soundgarden and Foster The People.
It’s been a beaut year for The Growl. 2011 saw the release of their debut E.P. Cleaver Lever, along with a packed-out launch at the Bakery and some awesome support slots which have taken the lads over East to Melbourne and Sydney. They’ll be winding up the year-that-was at the Bakery on Saturday 19 December for a super fun headline show with special guests soon to be announced.
